Earth Jam Productions is proud to Celebrate EARTH DAY Earth Jam 2008 Spring Earth Day Festival Saturday April 26th & Sunday April 27th 12:00pm-9:00pm. at Liberty Park1300 S. 700 E., Salt Lake City, Utah.
A free annual event recognizing Earth Day. Our goals include creating an awareness of our local organizations and businesses. Many are working toward creating a better Planet for us to live on by sharing ideas of reduction, recycling, and good energy use. There will be several of these types of booths present. Each having a 10x10 ft. space with a shade canopy. Last year we hosted over 100 groups. Each Space will be clearly marked with signs in front of the booth. Please look at our park map for locations of stages and also booths.
Earth Jam Productions is a Non-Profit organization that provides a venue for artists and musicians to display their talents. Attractions include: Art and Non-profit Environmental information booths. Exhibits, Vendors and Food. Bring the Family.
For Security and proper safety management Police Officers will be hired to protect the public and assist monitoring the Festival activities. Also a licensed security group of at least a dozen crew members will be present to help protect the booths, vendors and the park itself.
Earth Jam will have a full staff of workers and volunteers working in different areas of the park. These members will be clearly marked with a shirt and a logo designating staff or volunteer. Each entertainment area will have Earth Jam staff members available for any directions questions or concerns. All will either have a phone or radio with proper contact information in case of any emergency or immediate questions that may need to be addressed.
The Inner parking lot by the North shelter will be reserved parking for EMT's, Police, Handicap Vehicles, Earth Jam Staff and Stage Performers. This area will be monitored by our security teams. A Badge or permit will be needed to park there.
This year Earth Jam will feature workshops sponsored by local community groups. Also a Children's area with art, coloring, and crafts. There will be three areas of music Earth, Galaxy and Lunar. A variety of Music will be performed ranging from, jazz, blues and rock. Local Groups Include School Of Rock, Timbre, Ulysses, House Of Cards and others.
